approfondisciIl Prof.Alessandro Frati è Professore Associato in Neurochirurgia presso l'Università degli Studi di Roma Sapienza. Vice Direttore della Scuola di Specializzazione n Neurochirurgia, presso la Facoltà di Medicina e Psicologia dell'Università di Roma La Sapienza. Si è laureato con lode in Medicina e Chirurgia nel 2000 presso l'Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza", dove si è specializzato con lode nel 2005 in Neurochirurgia. Durante gli anni della specializzazione ha lavorato presso il “Brain Cancer Center” dell’Harvard Medical School del Massacchussets General Hospital di Boston, con il prof. R. Martuza nel 2002 dove si è specializzato nella chirurgia dei tumori cerebrali e spinali e nel reparto di Neurochirurgia della Miller School of Medicine dell’University of Miami, diretta dal dott. B. Green Miami nel 2003, dove si è specializzato in Microchirurgia. Nel 2008/2009 ha effettuato una fellowship presso la Capital Medical University di Pechino nel reparto di Neurochirurgia Spinale diretto dal prof. FZ. Jiang, specializzato nelle tecniche chirurgiche miniinvasive per la patologia degenerativa, traumatica e oncologica della colonna vertebrale . Dal 2007 al 2008 e dal 2009 al 2011 ha lavorato come Dirigente Medico di I livello presso la Neurochirurgia Universitaria dell'Ospedale S.M. Goretti di Latina. Dal 2012 ad oggi lavora come Dirigente Neurochirurgo di I livello, Professore Associato e Vice Direttore della Scuola di specializzazione in Neurochirurgia presso l'Azienda Ospedaliera/Universitaria Sant'Andrea, affiliata alla Sapienza Università di Roma.Le principali specializzazioni chirurgiche sono la microchirurgia dell'ernia del disco con tecniche miniinvasive per accelerare il recupero in sportivi e atleti; la chirurgia miniinvasiva della colonna vertebrale (ernie discali, instabilità, stenosi del canale, spondilolistesi, metastasi vertebrali, tumori vertebrali), la Chirurgia dei Tumori Cerebrali in Neuronavigazione, Awake Surgery (chirurgia da Sveglio), la Chirurgia dei Tumori Vertebrali e Midollari (Primitivi o Metastatici), la Chirurgia delle fratture vertebrali traumatiche, e la Neurotraumatologia Cranica (Ematomi, Fratture Craniche). grazie, dopo un intervento di stabilizzazione vertebrale con tecnica miniinvasiva è importante che il paziente segua scrupolosamente le prescrizioni mediche e stia riguardato anche se si sente di poter fare molto di più. Lei è stata una paziente perfetta ed è andto tutto bene.

Preciso, competente, lavora con grande passione. Mi ha rimosso un'ernia del disco in L4-L5, un osteofita alle faccette articolari destre ed effettuato artrodesi in L4-L5. Dopo l'intervento sono tornato alla vita, il decorso post operatorio procede alla grande nonostante la mia non giovanissima età. Non posso che consigliarlo.
